Enclosures & Electro-Mechanical
Sheet metal and CNC machining volumes are soaring with recent market drivers for energy generation, energy storage, AI compute, data center build outs, and significant development of medical devices. Cellpoint and it’s manufacturing partners are driving cost reductions, rapid NPI validation, and launch to scale by paring customers with the right manufacturers.

Support from Concept to Completion
Enclosures for medical equipment, drones, and robotics are a perfect fit for both pressure form and RIM processes. Most tools are built in-house and can be production ready in as little as 2-3 weeks, allowing you to validate your designs and ship product long before your injection tools will be ready.

Strategic Supply Chain Optimization
We specialize in early stage validation and concept-to-production services, bringing your ideas to life with speed and accuracy. Our cross-functional teams can help with complex projects integrating software development, electronic engineering, mechanical, and industrial design.
Cellpoint acts as a strategic intermediary, facilitating a deep, iterative engagement between our manufacturing partners and your engineering teams. Our process is designed to refine product designs and optimize the manufacturing lifecycle, ensuring maximum value and cost efficiency from the outset.
Early Stage Engineering & DFM Input
Engagement starts pre-sale with early stage engineering and Design for Manufacturing (DFM) input. This proactive approach allows us to identify and resolve potential manufacturing challenges while the design is still fluid.
| Stage | Activity | Customer Benefit |
|---|---|---|
| Pre-Sale | Joint review of initial product specifications and 3D models with manufacturer's engineers. | Reduced development costs and time-to-market. |
| DFM and Engineering | Detailed feedback on material selection, tolerances, assembly methods, and tool design, where needed. | Improved manufacturability, higher yield rates, and lower per-unit cost. |
| Cost Optimization | Identification of alternative processes (e.g., stamping vs. machining) or material substitutions. | Dramatic reduction in overall project development costs. |
| Iterative Design | Rapid feedback loops enable multiple design iterations with less overhead. | Ability to refine designs quickly, leading to a superior final product. |

By cutting days, weeks, or even months from early-stage New Product Introduction (NPI) and engineering development schedules, customers—particularly in the highly regulated medical and high-volume telecom sectors—dramatically reduce overall project development costs and are able to iterate designs with minimized overhead. Our goal is to ensure the final design is not only functionally superior but also highly economical to produce.

Cellpoint partnered with a leading consumer electronics company to develop on-premise hardware and a cloud-based platform to manage in-store display systems, while also connecting all retail locations.
Cellpoint’s hardware group developed and integrates appliances for all retail locations to orchestrate data flow, video messaging, firmware updates, and even serve as a security gateway.
The resulting data gave our client’s marketing team deeper insight into their customers’ preferences, as well as the effectiveness of their retail marketing displays.

Cellpoint partnered with an innovative provider of smart building management systems (BMS) to develop and produce multiple electronic systems to help power and manage the most energy efficient commercial buildings in the world. These systems, integrating environmental, power, and network management, reduce energy consumption while maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for the occupants.
Our services include turnkey manufacturing, electronic system design, mechanical engineering and design, early stage NPI, and continuity through multiple product lifecycles.

Partnering with a major semiconductor and electronics device manufacturer, Cellpoint brought concepts from their research labs to life, enabling third parties to license innovative technologies that fall outside of their core product lines. This included the product requirements, electronic design, firmware development, and mechanical component selection. We designed, engineered, and built the production versions, from a conceptual demo to market-ready product, within months.
Cellpoint eventually licensed the product, which was co-marketed with the customer, facilitating sales of the customer’s consumer product compute devices in off-grid locations.

We specialize in rapid product development and roll out, Whether you need design, prototype development, transitioning to high volume production, or full end-to-end service, we can help.
